Bob “Uncle Bob” Zima - Owner
Working as a master home builder and carpenter for the past 30 years, Bob decided to take the plunge and assume control of Appleton Souvenir & Cigar in January of 2003. Being a long time cigar smoker, Bob quickly fell into good company with our regulars.
Bringing his many years experience with cigars to the table, he offers our staff and customer insight into the industry of old. Favorite cigars include: Fuente 8-5-8, Counterfeit Cuban 1958’s. and Fuente Canones. Bob rarely uses a cutter for his cigars resorting to the ancient art of biting the heads, also often seen smoking a cigar far beyond the average ending point. This is a man who truly enjoys his cigars!

Brandon “Mr. Vegas” Landro - Sales Associate
Brandon’s first visit to Appleton Cigar was in the summer of 2001.  While having a conversation with Klint about the gift of cigars he wanted to purchase, Klint convinced him that he needed a part time job in the store.  The lure of cigars promptly sucked him in and he began reading everything available to him about the world of tobacco. With Klint as his guide, Brandon soon became a valuable resource to our customers.  It was Brandon’s enthusiasm about his new job, and an absentee owner who was not enthused, that brought “Uncle Bob” to the store to explore the possibility of a retirement venture.  Within three months, “Uncle Bob” was Brandon’s new boss. 

The fall of 2003 brought a change in careers for Brandon.  His full time job in real estate cut into his available hours, but he vowed to Uncle Bob that he would remain a loyal member of the Appleton Cigar team whenever possible.  Now, an owner of Landro Fox Cities Realty, Brandon finds his part-time hours at Appleton Cigar a pleasant break from the world of Realty (or is that reality??)  He looks forward to many more years of smokin' and BS’n with the ASCC regulars.
